2 pine boards (10 cm x 40 cm x 18 mm)

12 wood screws (about 4 x 45 mm)

4 chair legs (4 x 45 mm)

And so it goes:

First, to measure the breadth and depth of the case. With these dimensions, you can be at the hardware store two 18 mm thick pine wood panels sawing. After that you should draw the inner contour of the case on the wooden boards. Connecting with a circular saw or a jigsaw saw out the outline. Now it is tested whether the panels easily fit in the trunk, if not correct, again with the saw.

Does the size of the plates are sprayed with spray adhesive and foam plates layered over it. One should make sure that they go beyond the depth of the case, so you can comfortably sit on. Then, place a cloth over the foam board, stretch a little and fixed to the ground with the staple gun or nails.

To attach the pad buttons on the seat and backrest, with a distance of 20 cm turning two screws with the matching washer through the center of the fabric and the foam and attach the buttons.

Pine wood panels are used for the chair legs now to the two narrow pre-drilled at both ends at the points holes where behind the chair legs are to be secured. The chair legs can be painted with acrylic paint and thus adapted to the design of the case.

The prepared boards are placed in the case and fixed to the chair legs with a bolt from above through the case. Then, the padded plates are placed in the trunk. So they do not slip, they are secured with a screw through boot and plate.

Finish is stylish, homemade vintage suitcase chair.
